• What is a STEP system and who is responsible for it?
    STEP stands for Septic Tank Effluent Pump. Our STEP system has two main parts;
    1) The     HOMEOWNER owned and managed components which includes everything from the Shutoff Valve, (near the edge of the HOMEOWNERS property), Into the HOMEOWNERs property
    2) The     STEP ASSOCIATION owned and managed components which are components beginning at the shutoff valve out to the STEP mainline in the Street and all of the infrastructure used to pre-treat/convey wastewater to the Gig Harbor wastewater treatment plant.
